My relatives forbid me to draw patriotic comics

I must be stupid, but I AGAIN don't understand the actions of my relatives

Right now I'm working on a comic about the war in Ukraine and Russian guy named Yegor. I am a pacifist by nature, but I like my country and would really like to do something for it. And it would seem like a good thing to do something to support your country, but my relatives are absolutely against it.

When I ask why, they say I'll get myself into VERY VERY VERY BIG TROUBLE. Like the country already has problems, and here I am with my comic. Like people won't understand me and will accuse me of extremism.  Started telling scary stories about how someone used a swastika in art and he was put in prison for it. But this is just a comic about good Russian guys...

The only person who supports me is my father, He introduced a policy like I can draw whatever I want, but I won't post anything related to Ukraine until the war is over. Other relatives are more radical, I can’t post this comic AT ALL even after the end of the war.

If anyone is interested, I can post sketches of several pages.
