end of school

school has ended! i am very happy, the time leading up to this ending has not been very fun for me, as all things had begun to converge in such a way as to cause me immense stress. but now it is over and i am free to lounge about as a house cat might.

my teachers for junior year have assigned me two books to read over the summer. this is not the worst thing in the world, given that i like reading, but these books seem incredibly depressing. i might supplement reading them with dracula, if they do start to depress me. that is the book i had checked out to read this summer regardless, so i will read it soon. three months is plenty of time to get all of this done, but i am not enthused.

since the school year has ended, many of my friends have made posts with photos of all their friends from the year. this behavior has reminded me that i never take photos of myself or others, which is not fun if i ever wish to look back upon my memories. i will make a more conscious effort to take photos with my friends this summer and into the next year.
