i can never see myself being with someone who doesn't have a special interest.. i like hearing people talk about their niche interests since I can always notice the shine or glint in their eyes, hearing them talk about something so passionate makes me want to learn about it too and support them. i don't really care about the gender or something, just be a geek and we're good to go. it's boring to be with someone who's personality is just performative, i hate people who fakes their interests and/or personalities since you can clearly see the difference with someone who's posing and genuine. they don't have that spark and it looks pathetic, pathetic that they're pretending to be someone they're not. pathetic that they're cosplaying someone they wouldn't even give any second thoughts if that "interest" isn't popular.. i know some people who are like this. i don't say it to their face but i can tell just by observing them. im not as naive as they thought i am, i can see through their miserable act and all i see is a mongrel who leach off of other people's interest but never their own.
