I mean, i love it, but why it's so popular??
I have never met someone that knew serial experiments lain, let alone watched it.
It's one of my favorites anime and i gotta say not many people knows the real meaning behind the show.
At least i still have my azumanga daioh ^_^

i think its bc SEL explores the early interent and the beginning of technology being used by the masses and most users here are interested in old tech and early interent we neutrally gravitate towrds medias w these thems ^_^

I think Lain is ome of those animes whose fans r mostly introverts or don't go out as much... its super popular nowadays on the internet, no idea why, maybe the memes??
