the studio season finale (+ yellowjackets s4 renewal)

holy moly the studio might be one of my new favourite shows. genuinely so funny and chaotic, it really toes that line between being too much without loosing your interest. its such a great cast, its really a bunch of people you wouldn't think would be killer together and then they slap you across the face for being stupid. 

the whole koolaid movie premise thats been developing across the season was so hilarious, its such a silly concept that you would never think of yourself and they really play into it. the casting episode for that was absolute gold, honestly thought i was gonna pass out, i couldn't stop laughing. the globes episode was also a killer one, lowkey just gonna start thanking sal saperstein for anything that goes my way now. 

the 2 part finale truly captures the essences of this show, like you really get that beautiful cast dynamic tied into the craziest premise of them all getting high out of their minds. it really makes for amazing tv. 

gonna miss my kathryn hahn wednesdays now thats it over. season 2 can't come any slower.

can't make a blog post today without talking about season 4 renewal of yellowjackets. i'm honestly so hyped for season 4, unpopular opinion but i did like the writing for season 3. sure lotties and vans death did feel out the blue especially considering how recently they introduced them and how recent nats death was, but i do see the vision they could be working towards. ive have my theories about the direction they are taking and how everything is gonna play out thematically. its lowkey sounding like its gonna be final destination type of thing where its death catching up to them. theres definitely more too it(i dont think everyones gonna die by the end of the show, most probably will though). season 4 is gonna peak, can't wait to be insufferable again and force even more friends to watch it.
