my experience using the old mac os x 10.6.8 (snow leopard) 2009

this is my experience using the old mac os!!

wanted to tell u about my recent experience using the snow leopard operating system 

let me start by saying that i bought a mac mini with this system installed on it for literally 50$ (2009yr)

and heck, i even got a call from the seller asking if i really needed this stupid box..? lol

i also bought a monitor for 10$ and a small bluetooth keyboard also for 10$ (i repeat all that i bought costs in zł, so the exchange rate that i translated may change)

when i got everything it turned out to connect the monitor to the mac mini i still needed a hdmi-vga adapter, so after that i also bought it

(i would like to note that all the purchased items were ex-use, so on the one hand i saved a lot of money, but on the other hand i have no warranty on any of the purchased items)

somehow i was able to get it up and running and was mesmerized by it from the first second, ahah

first of all, I decided to use the browser, but it turned out that safari browser is no longer supported, so i had to install chrome. i could access all the social networks i needed except instagram and facebook (but i think it's no great loss)

after all, i didn't think i would use it as a full-fledged computer, because i use a macbook air for many tasks

but all the sense of using the snow leopard for me is there, namely to run old games like the oldschool minecraft and others, and also to use old versions of video and photo editors like imovie, hitFilm express, shotcut, openshot (a great alternative to windows movie maker)

and just at the end of the day i love the snow leopard, because it's beautiful and complements my retro collection, eheh
