- * 1 cup of unsalted butter or Margerine (2 sticks)
- 1 cup of sugar
- 2 tablespoons of your favorite Jell-O mix (or more if you like it stronger!)
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/2 cups of self-rising flour
- 1 3.4 ounce package of vanilla instant pudding
First, preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
soften your butter in the microwave. Then, you're gonna put in your sugar and Jell-O mix and stir it until it blends together.
then, crack your eggs into the mixture and stir.
in a seperate bowl, combine the flour and pudding mix. stirring isn't required, but i like to do it.
then, you're gonna slowly pour the pudding-flour mix into your egg-sugar-jello mix, and mix until the dough has the consistancy of playdoh.
this is where you'll want to let it sit covered for around 10 minutes or so.
while you're doing that, get a baking pan and some parchment paper and put it on the pan. (or if you don't have any, some cooking spray and some tin foil works too)
Then, using your hands (washed of course!) or a spoon, scoop some dough up, and drop it onto the pan. (I usually use my hands and roll them into little balls)
let them bake for 10 minutes. (be sure to check on them often, though!!! around 5 minutes in is a good place to check!)
you'll know they're done when the bottom is golden brown.
get a platter and some paper towels, and set your cookies on it!
this recipe makes around 36 cookies, but could make more depending on how small you make the cookies.
I hope y'all like them!
