Hello all! I hope you all are well! Today I felt like sharing my thoughts, even if nobody will read, I still wish to share what's on my mind.
I have been online for quite some time, and I have seen many things, heard many opinions and unfortunately have been witness to ridiculous standards and biases.
I am an overweight woman, about 5'6 and 180-190 pounds. It makes me upset that men consider the best type of woman is thin and curvy. They'll accept a skinny and flat girl, or a very busty ""chubby"" woman, but they would never consider accepting a girl like myself.
Men believe... well. I wont call them men. Real men value women for their hearts and their minds, not their bodies. Anyway, as I was saying, boys believe that women who aren't their standard are "less than" or "not worth it" or "useless". Boys seem to think that the perfect woman is either fake or incredibly lucky (like one in a MILLION lucky!) Its unfair for the rest of us, we are the women that get left behind.
Boys place a woman's value mostly in her breasts. They use the excuse that it's "biological" however, if it were biological, why are a lot of women from paintings of the past smaller chested? If it were instinctual, men of the past would've painted the beauty of busty women instead, right?
I saw a video, of two boys, a causal street interview. They were asked about Margaret Robbie, and what did they say? They said she was "Mid!" (average). Margo Robbie is one of the most BEAUTIFUL women I've ever seen, and they think she is below average? They state it's because she's a natural woman... How upsetting is that? They think she's average just because she looks how she's supposed to.
I think that demonstrates how far beauty standards have come. Women who are REAL and NATURAL are seen as less valuable than a pumped with plastic woman? That is obviously NOT the result of biology, its the result of sinful, unrealistic LUST!
The media and the porn industry is poisoning the minds of males.
The body positivity movements as well, they never supported ALL bodies. They supported the busty "thick" girls, but they did not support the fat and flat girls. They supported "all breast shapes" except for the tuberous. The bottom line is, the standard for body positivity was high, not as high as the beauty standard, but they were still neglectful of us other girls. We had the bodies that nobody cared for, the bodies that everyone ignored.
It has been a long road in learning to love how I am. I think I look rather cute, even if I'm a bit wonky and misshapen. I am just how God made me to be, and I should be proud of that.
As long as you have a beautiful heart and a beautiful mind, you can NEVER be ugly.
To whoever may be reading this, if you too struggled with self image, stand in front of the mirror, point out at least 5 things you most like about yourself, and focus on that. It doesn't have to be physical traits, just anything about you that makes you feel wonderful. You are all beautiful. Don't ever forget that!

I'm glad you liked my post!! Its an issue that people don't talk about often, and i'd had enough of staying silent about it and thought I should finally speak about it!! I'm sure that whatever you look like you are beautiful, and you are absolutely right, we are not here to please boys, the only person we must please is ourselves!
