fast fashion is basically when certain stores have cheap, trendy clothing and switch their clothing styles very frequently and sell trendy clothes while they are at their highest demand. because their clothing styles change so much, the stores end up overusing water, materials, and hire more and more workers to help quickly bring the next trend to the retail stores.  but because trends change so much, and the stores don't want anything but whats trendy, they waste lots of old trends clothing which ends up piling up in landfills. fast fashion is so wasteful, yet the demand is so high.

why is the demand so high if its so wasteful? its cheap. trendy. cool. simple as that.
