If you think I'm going to say that he listens to shit like MCR or Asking Alexandria, your wrong. Bro is the type to say he's emo but he listens to MGK and Lil peep, there is NO WAY his man is actually emo you cant convince me of it. maaaayybee a little bit of Blink-182, but its only modern blink.

Prompto

The ACTUAL emo one but denies it anytime someone asks. I think he would be a Jimmy Eat World and Avril Lavigne type of guy, I daresay an Avril stan actually. I could also see him liking 2010s indie rock like Cage the Elephant and Alt-J, bro had the Life is Strange soundtrack on repeat.

Gladio

DAD ROCK KING this is the mf that's blasting Creed at the gym so loudly that you cant even hear your own music and it drives Ignis up a wall. He also hogs the aux cord unless Iris is in the car. 

Ignis ,,,, my beloved

I...... I dont know.... I was going to make a joke that he listens to Sabrina Carpenter as a refrence to something his VA said in a cameo but I serously don't know. Yk those spotify playlists people make for characters? Every one of them for Ignis is so out of character and unhinged. (not that im using that as a refernce I thought I'd just bring it up) 

My best guess is Amy Winehouse it sounds like soemthing hed enjoy???? Maybe the Smiths??

Luna's music taste peaked in 2019 this girl is a beabadoobee stan. Somehwere in her closet shes got white nike air forces and a pair of jeans she painted herself that she still wears when shes not doing oracle work. Also made the playlist for the wedding in the good ending.

Iris

Between having to listen to Gladio's music growing up and trying to impress Noctis I think she developed the 'female manipulator' music taste, so like Deftones, Type O Negative and Slowdive. I think she'd also like shoegaze, so maybe some my bloody valentine too.

Cindy

She got her music taste straight from Cid, so that garage is always playing a mix of dad rock and classic rock, so Staind, Shinedown, The Black Crowes, and Def Leopard typeshit

Aranea

This was a tough one too tbh. I don't really see her as a music person bc she's a merc, but if she was I GENUNELY think shed be a Sleep Token girl. No I cannot give you a reason why. But during the events of episode Prompto, she starts listening to shit like Bullet for my Valentine and Black Veil Brides thanks to Prompto.

Ardyn

THE The Smiths enjoyer but only because that's what Verstael introduced him to after freeing him. I think he would also enjoy the Police and Pink Floyd for the same reason.
