Rockville!!

Just came back from rockville in daytona! I had an absolute blast XD

I got the 4 day GA ticket :3 we (me and my bf) saw gwar, we came as romans, halestorm, hoobastank (which were so loud that i wasnt even standing anywhere near them and they were so loud they blew out the speakers and i got a raging migraine), i prevail, invent animate (where i got kicked in the teeth by crowd surfers but holy shit new band to put in my playlist) of mice & men, red jumpsuit apparatus, rob zombie, set it off, pierce the veil, sleeping with sirens, bush, and theory of a deadman

we missed out on some that we wanted to see for one reason or another, like icp, green day, linkin park, bullet for my valentine, chevelle, motionless in white, mastodon, korn, the devil wears prada, and the black dahlia murder

we didn't go the fourth day and left early the 2nd and 3rd days because unfortunately my bf was really sick and was vomiting his brains out (which he is now getting better from thank goodness)

I've been to concerts before but not music festivals!! a lot of stressful shit happened and i lowkey almost threw up and passed out from the heat (and now i have a horrible blistering sunburn on my chest), but i had a ton of fun

I saw ptv w my bf and it was so so romantic cuz thats our band (besides the cure) and also ptv is the main band i wanted to go for so i had a ton of fun there

sws played a little earlier in the day and i didnt hear it but when kellin said to hug your best friend before better off dead i kissed my bf on the cheek and put an arm around him and a guy behind us said "awwwww" and that made me cry especially cuz that song is so special to me and i love my bf more than anything on this earth <3 plus kelin came to perform king for a day when ptv played!!!

set it off was absolutely magical for me. i actually had to run from sws to see sio, but it was so worth it! i saw my actual idols performing there, the people who were my gateway into alternative music and the ones who inspired me to want to make music of my own in the first place were right there!! i actually got pretty close to the stage too for how late i arrived

needless to say, i will definitely be going to rockville next year and i will absolutely be going more prepared 

ps shouts to everyone who was there and was dying like me, hope yall r ok, cuz i did see a few people have to be wheeled away in the ambulance, my prayers go out to them

pss sorry to my bfs theater friend who we met at ptv who asked me to record the concert for him and then my phone only recorded about a minute of footage before running out of space, istg i did not know im so so sorry T-T
