19/05/2025 - i am STILL tired...

Hello people!

This is definitely long overdue since it´s monday now but i still wanted to blog about my weekend, mostly saturday!  I´ve been too lazy to do anything other than take naps and look at my phone until now but here it is FINALLY ᕙ(  •̀ ᗜ •́  )ᕗ 

Alright so, I went to a concert on saturday! Now I´ve been looking forward to this for a long time since my friend and i got the tickets on a whim while i was in a bit of a bad mood like months ago. And it´s also been a while since i´ve been to a concert as well bc i didn´t have much money to spare for a long while (still kinda don´t (rip my wallet lolz)). So because i´ve been excited i´ve also been pre-planning a lot of things bc i wanted this weekend to be perfect :P especially bc i was relying on this to cheer me up/keep me motivated during my fuckass exam season lolz.

I got my exams over with for the week before then planned what to wear, dyed my hair, did my nails all at once. i had been procrastinating on these bc of exams so i did it all last minute as fuck BUT it all worked out fine <(˘ ˘ ˘)>

Now to the actual concert day:                                                                

My friend and i planned to meet up early around 2-3pm to get ready together, eat and just walk around a bit before we even got to the concert hall. But bc i am me, i only managed to sleep at 5-6am (insomnia) that day and woke up very tired around 10am... I also couldn´t fall back asleep so i did not have enough energy for the day... (◞‸◟,)  BUT i eventually got up and got ready anyway. And as planned, i was at my friends place around 15:00. I brought her my shorts to borrow, she tried them on, we listened to some music and messed around with my digicam until we left. Then we went to burgerking and ate before we went to the concert hall to check out the crowd. And this is when this blog actually starts getting interesting... (˵ ¬ᴗ¬˵)

We were there WAY too early to line up already since we had tickets for the furthest back to stand, the cheapest ones lol, but we wanted to see the ppl there anyway... They were gonna let ppl in around 18:30 and the concert started at 19:30. We were there at 17:30... And as soon as we got we immediately ran away to a park to wait instead lolz. For the reason that the crowd TERRIFIED us... As we walked by the line we only saw old white men in things like anime waifu hoodies and right wing political stuff on their jackets... Which yea okay it should be expected from a metal concert but we really thought this band specifically would have a bit more of a female audience... Walking past them was actually horrible i´ve never been stared at by so many old white men ALL AT ONCE... and then this is when we started coping lolz (╥﹏╥)

We sat at some stairs, panicking at our situation... And then i came up with a genius explanation !  ( • ̀ω•́ )✧ This had to be the crowd for the pit since we were there so early, which is why we didn´t see almost any women or poc at all (which should be self explanatory). it´s a metal concert and there´s absolutely gonna be a mosh pit and of course it´s gonna be primarily a specific group of ppl... We continued coping like this, going "it´s just the mosh pit crowd" over and over again and listened to some paramore while waiting... About an hour later we went back to the line which had grown like 12x times in size to wait as well. This is when we stopped coping BC we started seeing a more diverse crowd! It was so relieving to see millenial emos, lolitas and alternative gen z TwT lolz

So we lined up and waited... and waited... and waited... the organization was kinda horrible lmao. They started merging lines? and moving people somewhere else?? idek.. but we eventually got in and found a good place to stand! The openers were artists i was excited about as well but unfortunately the crowd didn´t seem to care much for them :( not even the pit crowd was enthusiastic... At least ppl seemed to enjoy the rest of the show though! My friend and i are both long term fans of this band so we were singing/dancing/headbanging a lot more than most of ppl in our section but aint no one gonna stop us from having our fun (˶˃⤙˂˶) They also played 2 unreleased songs that we both loved. And a handful of their most popular songs too! Very fun to dance to :3 maybe too fun bc after 3.5 hours of headbanging and jumping we were both dizzy lol TwT Unfortunately neither of our fave songs were in the setlist BUT amazing experience regardless :P Fun fact i actually did a music presentation on this band like 3-4 years ago and got a perfect score lolz

Once the last song was played we sprinted out to avoid the crowd which only semi helped since we got pushed around by a couple drunk old men anyway but we made it out safely and walked to the train station. By the time we left it was already pretty late but we stopped by burgerking to eat smth again and then went back to her place. I had left my stuff there since i couldn´t carry or take everything w me. So i got my stuff and went over to my bfs place to stay the night bc i didn´t wanna go all the way back to my neighborhood so late at night. His place was much closer and also i like spending time w my bf lol. 

On sunday i kinda just spent the entire day on and off sleeping in his bed while he studied lol. We ordered food and watched adventure time when he took a break from studying. And then eventually, and unfortunately, i made my way back home.
