i have a really big affinity towards names. i love names. i love reading the history of names. i love looking at cool names. i love reading them, imaging characters with them, thinking of them in my head!! names are so cool!! i love them so much. i could do research on different names, their origins, meanings, spellings for HOURS.
it's in times like these where i wish i could have more than one name. i still go by my birth name / a nickname of it irl and i like it (its a rly popular girls name, but i like how its spelled, so i pretend my name is unisex (it's absolutely not close to being unisex) and that its the name of a cool victorian vampire lord guy so i don't overthink my name LOL) and its like i wish i could have two names!! three!! i want to collect all the ones that speak to me!!! or i wish the government let u have an official legal second alias you could put down.
now you may be thinking... "just pick a second name dummy."
and you would be right, but i feel weird asking that of people and it doesn't click right in my brain. so what do i do instead? i give all the cool names i like to ocs so that they can enjoy them if i cant. i feel like i haven't earned the right to all these cool as names!!!!
names are cool. props to all the people out there that chose a cool ass name. i admire uuuu!!

This is incredibly real, for me names really do tie a person together. It adds to their natural aesthetics, sometimes their personalities too. I love unique names too, especially ones from different parts of the world.

I don't think it'd be weird to use for like as another name yk!! nicknames exist too!!! I personally think you should go for it i know it's weird bc it's like. THESE NAMES ARE COOL but personally what I think is if you like, if you want to use a name. and you feel a deep personal connection. I say you should go for it dude. BUT BUT i also think the oc thing is a cool idea bc it to me, visualizing them makes it so much cooler gives them much more of an identity!! names in general tho are so cool. LIKE I'VE ALWAYS HAD A FASCINATION WITH THE NAME AUTUMN. IDK WHY BUT THAT NAME TO ME IS SO COOL. names in general are so. wow man. I think it's genuinely a shame most people only have one name tho bc i always think names are so like. beautiful. like to think a human created the name like Athena or some shit like wow. so fucking epic. but then again some names are awful and i'm talking about like how white people name their kid like. spell their names in a very weird way like. ashleigh wtf is that. name your kid ashley. LOOKS AND SOUNDS SO MUCH NICER!!
LMFAO STOP my childhood friend's name was ashleigh unironically. but ya i agree imagine being in the womb for 9 months and out of all the names ur mom names u some basic white girl name (me.....) and u just have to accept that for like 80 years
