I DROWNED IN ILLUSION - POETRY/POEM

I can't see myself,

I'm not blind, 

so why can't I see myself? 

Nobody can see me, 

but I'm not invisible, 

so why? 

I make a point of showing myself, 

I scream and shout to make them notice that I'm right in front of them, 

yet nobody sees me. 

Am I dead by any chance? 

My subconscious answered my question..... 

"- DEAD INSIDE AND OUT" 

And suddenly I start to see myself in the midst of darkness, 

with no one.... It reminded me of when I was a child.... crying in the middle of the room feeling abandoned....
