Nostalgia

Spacehey has made me realize how incredibly simplistic and wonderful MySpace was. I can’t believe we ditched it for Facebook! I have major regrets about not saving my pictures before it switched to the new profile. If anyone knows how to recover these, please let a girl know! Now I find myself wondering about 15 year old me and what she would think of my life right now. She was sparkling and silly. I miss her.

What would you tell your teenage self if you had the chance? I’d love to hear your responses :)

I definitely get what you mean. I regret deleting my account but at the time it was an act to prove how "above" myspace I was at that point lolol how stupid, right? I wish I had all those photos. esp bc I had all of my trip to Europe on there. :( I miss my old self often too. I feel like I was braver and didn't care about the opinion of others as much back then. now I feel full of anxiety and that everyone is judging my every word and move. I guess life does that tho. I think we need a good phone chat soon, I miss our talks.

I too would tell my teenage self to chill out -- I was such a twitchy ball of neurotic stress

you should check to see if your profile is still up! i know a couple of my photos survived lol

i would tell my fifteen year old self politely to chill out and not try to grow up too fast. and that you won't regret learning the entire Soulja Boy dance, it's a special skill!

Welcome to the nostalgia train!

If you want to find your old stuff, some of it might be saved in some shape and form by the Wayback Machine. You just need the full MySpace address of your profile, which you type where it says.

Results not guaranteed though.
