Recently, I told my mom about visiting my girlfriend. My girlfriend is the type of enjoy small things, as she didn't grow up fortunate enough to have much. Anyway, my mom argued with me last night saying things like I'm a waste of time and space, and I don't deserve a girlfriend. I don't have a job currently as I was a full-time student in college (9AM - 6 PM everyday) so it was impossible to find work. This summer and this fall I'll hopefully be working. She says I'm not enough for this woman, and that I am a horrible person. Instead of encouraging me to improve to make sure that I am, in fact, a good person and/or boyfriend, she chooses the negative route. I cannot wait to finish college and leave. I'm tired of her constantly talking shit that I'm single and then bashing me and my s/o when I finally get one.

Main thing you should do is to prove her wrong, be better and if she still hates on you then prob leave. If she dose not support you even still then she's trash and you should leave and cut off from her.
