condensed lies

Told my mom i was getting condensed milk, instead i was at my friends house, breaking social norms and purely just being dudes. Who knew a 15 year old gym rat could be so cool? For once i felt happy, i got to show him the hidden gems in our area, the good, bad & ugly. And he did the same. All it took was a few hours at Mason's to mimic 2 whole years of therapy. I don't even get why my mom hates him, she barely gets to know my friends then when she hears something bad on one of them she goes full helicopter mode. I'm not asking for that much either. All i want is a social life outside of school. To be able to have the freedom any other kid my age has. Is that too much to ask?
