Rain world art dump 1

This has spoilers so uh. yep

I suggest playing the game yourself if you like pain and cool lore

P.S. the images might not work all too well right now because spacehey isn't quite loading images correctly as of now, please come back when that starts working again

first is the reference sheet I made for my spearmaster design. I think I did pretty well ::3

next, I decided to make reference sheets for two rain world original characters

first is the imposter

no idea if this thing even counts as a slugcat anymore

its' body is covered in colour-changing quills that it can use to disguise itself as other creatures

its' body shape is very fluid - it can basically transform parts of itself like the snout, tail or ears to look more like other living beings. or objects sometimes.

mostly omnivorous

next is The Siren

it can sing to make creatures move towards it - basically it has them (temporarily) act like a tamed lizard

I think it would be useful for batflies or getting creatures close to you so that you can kill them

it's practically carnivorous - blue fruit or other non-meat won't work very well. batflies give 1/2 a food pip though

I'm planning on making this into a mod but I'm not sure if I'll actually follow through with that and release it

if you're fine with spoilers for the mod that'll probably never leave my brain then you can have these

This is the title screen that I'm planning on using

I tried my best to replicate the rain world art style but it still sticks out

this is the acsension sprite I made for it - there's like a solid 50% chance I'll actually be using this one

and this is the echo sprite I might be using

it's not as realistic to the games' style but it works I think

this one took significantly longer than to make than the acsension sprite who could have possibly guessed

which one I'm going to use depends on which one I think would be easier to implement/be cooler for the story

anyways uh thanks for looking at my slugcat art, really appreciated

I'll probably make another blog entry with more art at some point
