I Know I Shouldn’t

You ever just fall for someone you know you shouldn't have? It's not anything that would stop the Earth in its tracks if it worked out, but it just has terrible optics. I feel myself connecting to this person on a mental plane that I don't think I've ever had with anyone and damn it It's insane but it could be good. We've got mutual friends who it may upset, but am I really concerning myself with others' perception of my own happiness? What do they have to say about what choices two adults make? And is this only in my head, or is the connection reciprocated?
