Song of the day, 5/17/2025

This is my first day using this, so I plan on posting one song each day, a song of my choice, a song that had me relistening over and over again, or a song that fits the mood of the day. 

So, the song of the day is: I'm Not In Love - 10cc

Am I in love? very much so, and I have a very healthy relationship going too, however, I adore this song. 

I used to listen to it when I was younger. I recently found it today after not hearing it for probably 7 or 8 years in the car with my mom.

I remember that car, it was an old navy-blue minivan with nice comfy seats, honestly, thinking about it gives me nostalgia, so this song reminds me of that.

It reminds me of when I was younger and used to listen to the songs my mom would play on the radio, songs she'd listened to when she was a teenager, too. 

I truly do adore this song, it gives me a wave of nostalgia and it in general has a very calming sound to it, but it also sounds lonely, almost made me cry when I heard it again.
