I've been trying to animate a simple 2d character in unity for hours now but I keep failing and it's pissing me off sm(◞‸◟,) I'm re-doing the project for the 5th time now hopefully I get it right. I literally deleted the wrong file and I couldn't get it back.
I have to like do a whole bunch of animations and draw another character and do the same things for that character and it's going to take like 1000 years. I've never animated something that includes another object other than the character. It's supposed to be holding a gun and all that. I think I'm going to take a break now and come back to it later I'm way too irritated(╥_╥)

Is it a discrete animation or is it procedural? I had to do simple animation in unity, but it might be better to make a 3D animation in different software and import it. It could also be because you don't know how to make the animation look good even if you can animate. In that case, either keep messing with it to try and learn how to make the animation look good or use your search engine to search the whole problem or individual parts of it. There are some things where it's better to learn from someone else who has spent a long time solving the problem and some things where you just gotta learn on your own and maybe post online to teach others.
