ran into my jam mate at our local social

I found my guitarist jam dude at our local social bar this wednesday night (karaoke night) and hung with him for a bit. he brought up the fact that hes trying to get his friend to commit to a time to have actual practice and jams sessions yet when he cancels on me he doesnt try to reschedule later in the week(its been 3 weeks since our last session)?? but i didnt complain to his face or put any pressure, just agreed that his friend needs to try to show up but honestly im okay with just me and the one dude. if i get cancelled on or flaked on again idk what im gonna do. im in the position of lead vocalist and frontman, and i can really only do that for one group at a time. currently these are the only guys im working with but there has been zero progress considering how long in contact ive been with the guitarist. 

this last wednesday for karaoke night at my local bar i did "fucking hostile" by pantera and got like 15 people out of abt 40 people in the bar pushing each other around, moshing(sorta), and such as that and i got such a huge high from it. this isnt the first time its happened, ive gotten people moving a bit before but this was the biggest crowd ive gotten to move around during one of my songs and it felt so good; absolutely euphoric. was def a "huh, this is what it feels like" kinda moment. really makes me want to actually perform but im not even close to that point with these guys im with rn.

even besides that, the guitarist wants to basically do a completely different genre of metal than from what im more interested in, so thats its own hurdle to deal with and we have not had that discussion yet. 

anyways thats my rant, thanks for reading the whole thing (if you didnt thats cool too lol), have a great morning, day, afternoon, or night rrrraaaaaaaahhhhh. also if anyone has any recommendations on how to find a different group or scheduling help or anything of the sort im all ears, but as for now im just gonna keep going through the cycle of talking to randoms until i find gold
