Because tell me why I try really hard to set a good impression, but everyone tries and distances themselves after finals? I'm trying to make friends and they're just trying to get one night stands...
Like I'm trying to make friends because I don't dorm, life is already starting to become harder. I have friends back at home, and me and my fam are tight, but I'm trying to make some friends in my major, yk?
And please, let's not get into my dating life...
Anyways, lmk if you've had a similar situation chat.

haha, believe or not i am literally in the same boat
in college, most of the socials are done in parties. And, yk what? it's okay and not our problem lol
it's been one year I've been in college, i stopped talking almost completely with the girl i first met in my course bcs she just wanted to skip classes, go paty and drink after the tests (not criticizing, but it wasn't for me and she's quite nice still).
either way, i really thought i would be alone but i found ppl like me :), plus, not only that, but also a friend group who respects each other's preferences.
so, sorry the blabber, but i want to say that things will tend to fall in place with time. Ppl with same vibes will find eachother and you can be lucky to find cool ones that, even being different, will stay. Its normal.
