The biggest thing in my life rn

So i have a crush on my friend, and so abt a week ago i asked them out.

They said they aren't ready to date, but they keep on saying "If i wasn't stupid we would be dating rn" And when i gave them the note last week, they wrote "It would be awesome to date you, but i physically can't" i told them i completely understand and wasn't upset.

Its reminding me that maybe in the future we would be together or something.. idk but their giving A LOT of hints rn, I think they might have a crush on me but at the same time not ready to date. Wish me luck and maybe in the future I will post an update on the whole thing if we are dating or not.. XP
