dunno what category this'd go in, kind of just a vent atm
idk man people are weird. like i try to be interested in peoples interests, and i can get invested. and that effort is made for me too. but at the same time i'm often just kind of shafted to the side while other people talk about their interests cause they can get it but i can't. and like i get that but it does kind of hurt sometimes to be excluded because i don't have those interests cause i like hearing about this sorta stuff. i might not show it that well, but i love hearing people talk about things they're passionate about, even if i can't reciprocate it.

i just want to be able to relate to my friends for fucking once in my life

me o my, I can relate. I'm legit rn in class and during the long/ big break of 30 min my friedns from my friend group always find split into two gropus and enjoy themselves, but I somehow find myself not really fitting into any of groups. Like one of them are all plying the same mobile game during the whole break, and the others are talking about things I just can't relate to or jump in with anything.
