CSH Scholars & HTLT, 4 DAYS, Quake'n out (Jargin No. 16)

Another week and I gotta write another blog, here I am and I am here

Last week I said I was probably gonna listen to either The Scholars by Car Seat Headrest or How to Leave Town by Car Seat Headrest and I ended up listening to both; I'm glad to say that I enjoyed them a lot! How To Leave Town was doubtfully a banger of an album but I'll admit I might want to give it another listen through because I listened to it at like 1 in the morning and i was pretty tired, so mabye......... favorite track on there was likely I Want To Know That You're Awake/I Hope That You're Asleep and I know that's the most popular track on there but i do not strive to be unique in my music taste it just is what it is and by god that song is an good

as 4 the scholars that one was also very good, i preordered the CD before the album released so I got to look at the drawings that came in the lyric booklet and they were very very good drawings, cate wurtz peaked out there

favorite song in there is definitely Gethsemane, i wasn't toooo sure about it when it first came out as a single a couple of months ago but when i listened to it in the context of the album it was amazing, 10/10 sunging right there my friends. the only criticism i have about it is that the music video kinda just weirded me out and i wasn't the hugest fan of it (also AI generated effets were in it for a few seconds and god knows how i feel about that). but amazing song otherwise

excited to hear them live in chicago in july, only been to one other concert that I chose to go to before (porter robinson, unbelievable set and amazing performance) and i am so so so so so so sos ososo sosososososososososossooooo hyped :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

speaking of live performances, found this recording of car seat headrest playing with naked giants doing a cover of This Must Be The Place by Talking Heads and it genuinely makes me wee hee squee its good

school got me by my balls and wont stop killing me most days are so boring or so much work no in between and it's only there for FOUR more days after 13 years bru ohh myy gooooddddd i can do SO MUCH and i can do ANYTHING and i'll be in COLLEGE soon and this is the greatest
