poetry

when your body decomposes in my favorite garden bed,

i will unearth your pelvis

and your hips,

to carefully mount above my head so i can

sleep well at night,

you will be memorialized

as you often see fit,

a carcass that should be cherished

a collection of bones that this world should not see,

the estranged and fools

if no one was bowing at your feet,

i’d still be in the pews, gnawing on the marrow

that seeps from your cartilage

for i am addicted to the taste,

of the suffering that seeps in

cannibalization is the deepest form of app
