Applying for Jobs is so HARD

It's not that I don't want to work or anything- I'm actually looking desperately for a full-time job. It's just that anyone paying above the minimum (unliveable for a college student) wage wants 3+ years of experience in something that should be a starter career. I'm tired of applying for server positions and going through 2 weeks of assessments, scheduling, etc. just to be told they 'can't bend the rules' and will only pay me the bare minimum, even when the application says they're paying more.ย

On top of that, the job-finding websites are flooded with scammers and fake companies, so it's hard to trust any offer without doing a bunch of research into their company.ย

Is anyone else struggling with this problem?ย

going thru the same thing rn and so frustrating!! i've been applying for the most beginner jobs ever, some even have "oportunity for your first job" or "apprentice" in the title, but t
hey still want me to have prior experience like bruh.. how am i supposed to get that if no one's willing to hire me?!

i applied for more than 10 jobs just today, most of them weren't high-paying or close to where i live, some even asked me to do personality tests and culture tests.. i'm a massive introvert too so it feels like there's no winning. i'm exhausted.. hopefully at least one of them contacts me tomorrow :P

i feel you, i'm in the same boat. i'm more than qualified for the positions i'm applying to but they always tell me i don't fit their criteria/they have found a better candidate. it's bs.
