day two held nothing much of interest and today was my friday, so
hopefully saturday brings something more interesting (or at least funny)

NERF ICON Series Magstrike - $6 before discount
slightly lesser known fact about me: i collect NERF guns! both old and new, i've always had an affinity for NERF but my parents could never afford them growing up, so now that i have my own income and live on my own i buy whatever i fancy!
the magstrike was always a particular favourite of mine as i just love gimmick blasters or anything out of the norm. this specific example isn't anything to write home about-- cosmetically it's a bit fucked, there's something rattling in it, and the tanks seal is a bit worn, i think-- but for 6 bucks in working condition with the magazine there's no way i could've passed it up!

not much to say about this one. i just thought it looked goofy as fuck and wanted to post it. he looks like a medieval painter had a chipmunk described to them and they proceeded to poorly paint it
i didn't even actually buy this one, however

Framed photo of Octavia Melody - price forgotten, but probably priceless
lots of questions. why would you donate this? who would buy this? why would you have this? i love g5 as much as the next queer, but why octavia specifically? i feel like this person had to have died or been forced at gunpoint to let go of this, because you have to be a very specific flavour of autistic to have a framed photo of your favourite, and if you have that you are never letting go of it. i need to know the story!

also did not buy it. i was going to buy it because man is it ever funny,
but when i came back after the weekend it was already gone! i did
discover the art is from SpainFischer over on DeviantArt, but that just raises even more questions. do they know? did they sell this as a print?
the world may never know.

fun series idea, also nerf gun for that price is a huge steal! i recall getting one when i was 8/9 and it was so expensive despite it being basic
