Poem

I have died — not once,

but a thousand quiet deaths by your hands.

In the silence of watching you,

in the torment of hearing your voice,

and in all the countless little agonies between.

But nothing carved deeper wounds

than the day we came undone.

Even with a single soul,

you found a way to kill it

a thousand times over.
