I made a promise to myself: to not get plastic surgery till I turn 25 years old.
Right now I have almost no confidence. And if I get that confidence through plastic surgery, that will become my only source of confidence and I'll want to keep getting surgeries to maintain that confidence. I might get addicted to plastic surgery and botched.
So I want to work on my inner self and have other sources of confidence first, before thinking about plastic surgery.
I chose the age 25 because the frontal lobe fully develops around the age of 25, meaning I will be better at critical thinking from this age. I also wanted to allow myself to get surgeries young, so that I won't feel like I missed out on my youth by not being conventionally attractive.
And maybe by this age, I've changed my mind and I won't want to get any surgeries, so I will have this extra cash on me that I originally planned on spending on plastic surgery :)
