SPOILERS FOR THUNDERBOLTS*...........taskmaster's death was stupid

i know that taskmaster in the mcu is a hated character because it's not completely comic accurate but she had so much potential.

In the black widow movie we see her as a brainwashed assasin that doesn't talk, and her father was controlling her to kill people, so we never see her talk and her personality doesn't appear in the whole movie, and that was the thing that the majority of the fans didn't like about this version, wich is kind of a good point, but at the end of the movie black widow set her free, and she has her first line in the whole mcu "Is he gone?" and with just that line we know that she hated her father, hated being brainwashed and wanted him to die.

Then she appears in the movie thunderbolts*, that is a movie about depression and mental health, and since she is now free from the mind control, we could've see her personality being comic accurate, talking a lot and being a jokester, and we could've explore her trauma, the things her father did and the things she had no other option to do, i feel like exploring that could've make some fans that hated her like her, they even planned to do that, Eric Pearson (the guy that wrote the script for thunderbolts*) said that they planned to keep taskmaster in the movie and she had memory problems and tried to kill John Walker because she forgot that they were friends, but no, they chose to kill her for some surprise factor
