i don't want to leave my history class :(

im dreading leaving my current history class sm, i dont want to go to apush because of the way the teacher teaches. i love my history teacher sm bc shes so passionate and educated abt history, if any kid has a random ass history question she'll know every little detail about every topic. she makes learning FUN, and shes such a good teacher. and also she's just really awesome like if i was her age id want to genuinely be friends with her

meanwhile the apush teacher makes us use chatgpt to get our historical information. i want the teacher to TEACH. i want to learn about history all over the world. i want to learn about cultures, traditions, emperors, revolutions, presidents, tribes, historical figures, i love history so much, and youre telling me that next year we'll be getting all of our historical information from AI and not the actual teacher of the class???? and then we have to write essays that he doesnt even grade but instead he grades it with AI???!!! literal BS im sorry but it is and im dreading it

like when i think of leaving my history class now i start to get emotional but maybe im tired idk but i hate the fact that this might be the last time i have a history class that i enjoy. then, after apush, thatll be the last history class i ever have in my life, bc after that is government and psychology. just bummed abt that 😭

like its making me actually consider being a history teacher as a job

at the very least when im in college i'll definitely want to take every history class there
