Let's talk; religion..

I'll respect your religion as long as you respect mine. I've been told by a christian to kill myself just because I used to do witchcraft and due to me being Hellenic, I pray to the Greek gods all the time. I worship Athena, Zeus, Aphrodite, Hypnos, Hekate, Hades, Nyx, Ares, Selene, and Circe. Chirstians need to understand that not everyone believes in Jesus.Β

Anyways, What's your opinion on religion? And if you have a religion, then what is it? if you're comfortable sharing of course..

As a Christian myself I am angry and astonished that someone professing to be a Christian would tell you to kill yourself because suicide is a sin. This person is a disgrace to Christianity and also a disgrace to humanity.

As a Christian I am appalled someone identifying as a Christian would seriously tell you to kill yourself. Christians are suppose to be mimicking Christ, and we might fail a ton, but that doesn't forgive telling other people to kill themselves. We don't get to decide who's life is valuable.

"It isn’t my responsibility to judge outsiders, but it certainly is your responsibility to judge those inside the church who are sinning." -1 Corinthians 5:12

Only Christ in the end times gets to judge the living and the dead. Whether or not you believe that shouldn't change how I treat you. I'm more judgemental of those who claim the name of Christ and then soil it.

My religion:
I believe there is one God, Jehovah, who is a plurality. I believe we are separated from Him because He is perfect and we are not. Because of our imperfection, when we die we stay in the ground/ sheol/ hades. However, God, instead of destroying the world and starting over, chose to love us and create a timeline in which we could be made perfect and live with Him. I believe this to be the overarching message of the Holy Bible, summarized in the Gospels. In short, I believe part of the plurality of Jehovah is Jesus, and when Jesus died, being God, He concurred hades (as in the underworld, not the god) and became the Lord of the living and the dead. He called those who trusted in Him brothers and sisters, meaning if we trust in Him we can be adopted into the immortal family of God.

Sounds crazy, but I thought you might enjoy my take on Christianity judging your understanding of Hellenic pantheism.

Is there a difference between Greek and Hellenic? I'm asking because isn't Greece an orthodox Christian country?
Of course I mean this with no disrespect to your beliefs I am asking merely out of curiosity
