What pet is overrated; Dogs or Cats?: In my opinion dogs are.

I personally think that dogs are a little overrated. I'm not saying this because I'm a cat person, I not only want a cat as a pet but also a hamster, they are so cute! 

But I think dogs are so overrated that cats usually get hate. To me, cats are like independent animals and less needy; they don't require much attention from you unless they want to, and cats even require less playtime and don't need to be taken on walks. 

Cats aren't that loud, but they can still be protective of their owners, just like dogs can. In my opinion, as a person who has 2 dogs, there's too much noise for me, and hearing them bark every day annoys but that's just me. 

Cats also cost less than dogs, including the price of cat food, grooming, and toys. 

But I think cats could be good for people who want a companion who has less requirements like for busy people, or calm people who just want an easy pet and I'm not saying dogs aren't good, I'm just saying that their overrated and I have dogs myself and I'm not much of a dog person and I really don't do anything with them unlike my sister who likes them. It depends and the person's characteristics and the animals. 

But of course, there can be cons, but there are pros and cons for everything. I just think dogs are really overrated bc of all the dog movies with dogs being the MC and saying dogs are the BEST pets, and cats just getting hated on. 

So, cats are probably the best for people who are busy, introverted, like privacy, and maybe a cat that matches their traits 

That includes my opinion on dogs being overrated and why cats can also be good pets, just like dogs.
