yo does anyone remember poptropica?

like dude when i was little i used to blast the SHIT out of this game. i would sit down on my crappy laptop open poptropica and enjoy the variousness of the islands (also it was made by the guy who made doawk). the islands were so GOOD. i remember my first one being a titanic one and that i had to look up thinknoodle's (shoutout to him iirc he added fans and me too i think) (he had a different name back then) walkthrough and follow it 1:1 and made an account! (due to me being small my user was the same as my password, still is) one of the most annoying features were that some additional gameplay (there was a mini mission after titanic ending) was locked behind the membership. i used to hang out on those hangout spots a lot too (i would steal people's awesome outfits like that weird huge bag or rainbow stuff)! i also recall being able to use some items from islands across the other ones (the troll or hypno powder were so cool man) additionally there was a free wheel spin daily for goodies and i remember doing change date glitch to get lots of cash allowing me to buy lots of cool shop stuff. i was so scared of playing zombosmth island and survival ones lol. heck i even remember putting my friends on in the 3rd grade and they thought i was so cool with all that rainbow stuff lmao. suddenly during lockdown (i think?) they reworked the page, added sorta rpg (realms) and a spinoff (worlds, really fun basically a successor but had limited islands). though the real downfall was when they removed a majority of the islands (also spin to win too? i think:( ) due to flash losing support (big nate and doawk islands fans wya) because basically then from 9/10(?) pages you had like 4 and most of the best ones were removed too:( but hey at least we had a mobile port! (and a buggy steam port that was pay access..) stopped playing in late 2022 and decided to check up on it recently and guess what? there are barely any new community posts, poptropica has moved to coolmathgames, the game didnt load at all (i tried 6 times), worlds (likely) is gone and some more features probably along the way. real shame, since i loved this game (flash emulator doesnt recognize my account sadly so i wont probably experience playing on it ever again and seeing my last offline 6/7 years ago friends). its likely not really anyone (<10000 people probably) plays this game anymore making it only a distant niche childhood game. my favourite island is still escape from pelican prison though; real shame because this game had huge potential. has anyone of you played it too? (please i cant possibly be one of 5 people on spacehey who at least played it once..) lmk i wanna hear other people's memories about poptropica:D cya
