The best way to be alluring is to practice a skill and show it off. If you don't have any hobbies or interests like this, the one I find most young people (and myself) try is magic, slight of hand and doing little tricks to impress. It seems pretty trivial but it's actually part of a larger personality where you can say "im kind of boring but I do X" where X starts out as magic. If you don't like the magic thing (try it out first, its more fun to do than watch on tv), switch the hobby until you find something that fits. It's not about showing off, it's about having something to show off when you need to take the attention.

Always remember if things get messed up you can also be a comedian, just laugh it off and you will be just as confident and attractive as if it went well in most cases!
