spd storytime

for me its crows/ravens, and other things. on the topic of mental health i like to educate others on spd, because deadass no one knows wtf it is. and its important to let others know about it. but i would NEVER tell anyone outside my friends about it, because knowing my school/people in general would exploit that issue and purposefully overwhelm me. only reason why i mention it here is because anyone on spacehey cant really send me an audio clip/video and make me listen to it.

anyways, the topic of mental disorders/illnesses came up in a discord server im comfortable in, everyone talked about their experiences, i talked about mine and included spd, they asked about it, i told them about it and my triggers, we move on. couple minutes later some dude comes in with an audio file, titled “cat meow”. i have common sense, i dont click on it, its obviously a crow or raven. instead i forward it to closer friends, ask them to listen to it when they can and they tell me its a crow call, thankfully not a raven because i feel my issue is more so with ravens. it annoys me, but my friends insist i tell a mod, not that big of a deal. im a little upset ofc, some guy tried to get me overwhelmed. but its in the past. dont know what he wanted out of me. 

just a reminder, takes a lot to open up about mental health issues, dont exploit it when someone feels comfortable enough to tell you, just keep it as a note when talking to the person so you don’t overwhelm them.

anyways at this point im just tryna gaslight myself to say “spd doesnt exist im overreacting” so i dont go apeshit in public, still wear my headphones every single chance i get to though.
