Heavy music is coming back (Turnstile's the shit)

So culture acts in a cyclical way and I am interpreting that we are heading back towards 1999 levels of popularity of heavy music. seeing the Turnstile park show video, felt like a generational vibe. Before the band even started playing their instruments, while only the vocals and backing synths were being performed, a steady stream of stage divers crisscrossed downstage, and circle pits opened across the crowd. What was captured on camera the other day is something that's jumped straight out of Hellfest 2000.

What we're seeing seems to me like a Nirvana before their Nevermind- Meaning, were on the verge of a release that is as culturally significant as Nevermind is, not necessarily Turnstile, but someone in their lane.

Update: all the above is still true but the newest single is not as good. I'm also not a real turnstile fan , I just liked a few tracked pre glow on, and then listened to glow on when it came out .

Okay so now Never Enough is out and I really wanna see the movie. I like Glow On more, but this album is pretty good. A great hope-case for bands coming from DIY backgrounds. I've had multiple songs stuck in my head. Even at it's poppiest there is a punky aroma to it.
