MAYHEM BACKSTORY (prob some stuff wrong :p)

Mayhem was founded in 1984 by Oystein Arseth or euronymous and a few years in their vocalist left so they found per or dead who sent a crucified rat a note and a demo from his old band asking to join they thought he was a little weird but they let him in. Dead had this thing called cotard syndrom which is the belief your dead he felt all the blood in his veins had frozen. So dead and euonymous got into a fight (i think) and euro left the house for about 3 days that's when dead shot himself now officially dead. Euro had come back to find him dead he decided to rearrange a few items and took a photo with a disposable camera. He did 4 things with Deads body. Made it an album cover turned a piece of his skull into a necklace sold a piece of his skull for 3500 and made a stew with a bit of his brain. They then needed a new vocalist and his name was Varg. Varg burnt down churches and one day Varg and Euro got into a fight and Euro grabbed the shotgun Dead used to kill him self but varg quickly grabbed a knife stabbing Euro about 24 times (i think). Varg called it self defense but people found proof that he was already planning to kill him so they gave him the maximum sentence in Norway which is 21 years for murder and Arson of 4 churches but Varg is currently still alive now on Tiktok doing idk what
