social media/obvious solutions

my friends often talk about how they see something theyre displeased with online, either an opinion or general post, and i offer them the solution which is getting off social media but they never listen. they either ignore it or wishfully think that oh maybe one day. the day is now! i have to stop myself from constantly telling them theyll be much happier if they just delete social media or stop scrolling or whatever and their only answers are the two i just mentioned. it makes me so mad when theres a clear answer to something but people refuse to do it. its illogical...

this isnt just this topic either. my friend had injured himself and i told him to put ice on it but he refused and continued to complain about his injury. in another instance a different friend was struggling with a certain matter and i told them exactly what to do to fix it. but no.. she just continued to complain and ended up doing it the hard way (instead of the easy way i told her) that she hated 

i love my friends and i always have their best interest in mind, i wish they would listen to me because what i tell them is helpful! and i want them to be helped. its just so frustrating. i know theyre not required to listen to me but to be honest if they dont then i dont want to listen to them complain! i gave you the solution, if youre not gonna do it then dont cry to me -_-
