I see very few metalheads on this site. Even less those who listen to anything other than death metal, screamo, numetal, etc. I really, genuinely wonder why! 

Black metal as a genre is beautiful to me. I love the screaming, the lo-fi quality and blastbeats, also known as the "wall of sound." Dsbm is amazing. The sounds of pure anguish and torture mixed into an ugly depressive symphony is amazing. 

I don't know shit about bm, btw. I mean I know the history and the general gist of it all but at the end of the day me walking into a record store and walking out with something genuinely good is pure coincidence. Last time i went to a real record store I walked out with apparently a super rare goth disc and it was a blind buy LMAO
