flakey plans/scheduling

Man this is the 2nd time in a row ive been flaked on for a jam session with these dudes. They had good reasons for it but neither of these guys try to even reschedule for a later point in the week or im notified last minute that the jam is cancelled. its aggravating and ive already considered looking around more for another group to frontman for but if im flaked on a 3rd time in a row ima prob tap out and leave the group, respectfully. i really wanna make music and perform within my local scene but ive been trying for months to figure something out and so far ive got just about nothing. i dont wanna go begging people for a lead or go around like "hEy maN u Kn0w AnYoNE??" and seem needy but i am getting to a point of being quite desperate (at the very least it feels like it). im excited to make and produce my own stuff but i cant seem to find any other likeminded people that are available or even as eager or ambitious as me.
