Emo in the Military

New to blogs (blogs are probably older than I am) but just a little discussion I wanted to talk about.

 So it was weird as it sounds, I've always been so fascinated in discovering people in the 'Scene' here in the Navy, and I use the term 'Scene' loosely mainly because I notice it's not as niche here than in groups/areas with people people who devote there lives to what people would really call 'Scene'. I believe a large part of it is the standards and regulations we have to maintain while serving, trust me if I could I would love to have my piercings out and about, but it's just not as accessible to show your interests and passions like that while active, and don't even get me started about life on a ship while it's underway (middle of the ocean) I hardly wear civilian clothes so everyone's just so hidden.

 I will say, the Navy does have a lot of old 'Metal Heads' and "Folks" who used to love the old gen Emo stuff.

IDK just a thought, LMK if anyone has any insight!
