Finished Dragon Ball Z, Now to GT!

Welp, it's official! I've officially finished Dragon Ball Z and am now starting my journey on the controversial Dragon Ball GT series. It's crazy, I've watched so much anime since I was a wee wittle toddler; never watching Dragon Ball mainly just because it seemed like it was just buff bros fighting all the time. And while I'm not going to say it's not, it definitely is more interesting than that, and watching this rag tag group get stronger, befriend more people, and grow older is very enjoyable. Even more enjoyable is seeing the influence of Dragon Ball on some of my favorite anime, especially One Piece (I mean same studio yeah, but even beyond that).

Dragon Ball Z was pretty good all things considered, each of the sagas (Except for Garlic Jr.! Good god that fucking sucked!!!) was great and continued to escalate the threats more and more. Oh shit Goku's brother is fucking NUTS, oh shit now there's two other fuckers just as strong (if not stronger) coming now, oh shit one of the fuckers that came by is following some lizard bro who is even STRONG and just PIMPING the fucker that came by, oh shit androids, oh shit a bio dude that vores those androids and has the stem cells of the strongest fighters in the world, oh shit Krillin won in the end by goin' fucking 'nanas on one of the androids (WAY TO GO BRO!!!), oh shit majinpoopoodoodoo!!! Like it just gets crazier and crazier I swear and I was in it for the long haul. I like how Akira Toriyama allowed the characters and world to grow older, I would be watching the next arc and it would feel like the one I watched two days ago happened two years ago. I know others have done it such as Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, but I think it was probably a lot crazier to be one of the first big series to do it and still make the story sound.

One of the complaints I have though is that some of these fights drrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagggggg on holy shit! Like this is a weird complaint from a guy that fucking loved and continues to suck One Piece's dick. But damn man some of this shit just keeps going on, and on, and on, and on, and on, aaaaaaannnnd ON! Another thing, every. single. fucking. time. There is a character design for one of the gals that I'm fucking with, Akira Toriyama has to go and tear it away from it with such vindictive cruelty like fuck man! LAUNCH WAS FUCKING COOL, WHY THE FUCK DID YOU FORGET HER!!!! He didn't even write her out, he literally just forgot her until, "Oh yeah uuh spirit bomb haha." She was my favorite gal and he abandoned her like she was nothing! "Red pants with yellow belt" Bulma was GOATED man, like the hair, the clothes, combined with her spunky attitude; Akira perfected her! But then he fucking RUIN her with that shitty ass bowl cut man.  And don't even get me started on what they did to Videl and her gorgeous pixie cut. Sigh... Oh well, these things happen in life. I'm very interested to see what the fuss is about over in GT, and I'll blog my thoughts on it after I finished.
