"EKELHAFT 'Disgusting", Poetry Entry 1 (LITERATURA)

“EKELHAFT”

Once a young man many years ago,

who drew for passion and not wrote for show.

A young lad attempting to pave a path,

despite not knowing what his future casts.

For turning to darkness wouldn’t ensue,

Until years later after failing anew.

But to make our way back to the time,

when this young teenage lad was doing just fine,

To change history would seem the best,

but sometimes it's better to put things to rest.

We all know this man,

what he’s done and how he stands.

We know his past-future-and death,

for all he has done we will never undigest.

But to go back in time and murder this lad,

to change history and painful memories they’ve had,

is it really worth it?

Would you shoot through his heart?

Or would you leave Hitler be,

and let him make his mark?
