why are we afraid of death when it's the only thing that is guaranteed? i understand that we won't know what happens when we die until we do (or maybe we still won't) but either way we are taught to sit back and embrace the randomness of life. where is that same expectation for death? why are we taught that life should be valued over death? not everyone has a good life. most people have a shitty one. why are we taught that it's all or nothing? would you rather live in silence or spend every day with noise?
