SOUTHEASTERN BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL WIN CHAMPIONSHIP ON SAME DAY

I'm super happy to have my first blog entry on this page be the announcement that the Southeastern Baseball and Softball teams have won their conference championships on the same day. Though I'm told that Baseball is sharing a "co-champion" title, which I'm still looking into to verify. Unfortunately, I could not attend or watch either series due to other things going on at the same time, so I can't give a detailed rundown on how both teams performed. Not the best start for a sports blog I suppose but that's what happens when I don't find a place to post to until the end of the season. NCAA tournament coverage is certainly coming. 

I'm super proud of the effort and hard work put in by the players of both teams and the staff that helped them along the way. The job isn't done yet and we need to bring the NCAA trophy home to Hammond. Can't wait, Go Lions!!!
