Tokyo ghoul

I have decided to watch Tokyo Ghoul. But I’m kinda curious about how much it is traumatic. And what’s the main point about the serie I have seen the edits ofc but still don’t understand the point. So I thought maybe its like evangelion the whole point is the serie itself lol . One of the reasons I want to watch is Chase Atlantic has a song about this serie called consume and I kinda relate to that song so I think maybe I can relate to this serie too.
