Digicam recommendations?

Hello friends!

Does anybody have a good list of digital camera recommendations that can help me decide which to get? I had a green waterproof digital camera as a child, but my stupid little head left it at a water park. I want to get back into photography like I used to be, but I don't need any fancy camera to achieve the aesthetic I desire.
